Various activities were organized in Alpine Public School Nalagarh under the fit India banner. Giving details Mrs. Prem Joshi, the Principal told the reporters that as per the C.B.S.E. guidelines third week of November was observed as fit India week to fulfill Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi’s dream to make India fit country. Throughout the week many activities like Yoga, P.T., debate & painting competition, essay writing competition etc were organized for physical and mental strength of the students. Its main motive of the all these activities was to prepare kids mentally to handle any situations. Psychologists also enriched kids with their ideas to handle pressure. All students participated in physical activities like Yoga, Aerobics, Martial arts, Rope skipping, tug of war, stepu & cricket etc. A poster making competition was organized on the topic of “Fit body, Fit mind, and Fit environment”. She concluded her interview by saying that fit generation is essential for fit nation.
